سابق وزیر اعظم بینظیر بھٹو جمعرات کو راولپنڈی میں اپنے انتخابی جلسے پر
ایک حملے میں ہلاک ہو گئی ہیں۔
آٹھ سال پاکستان سے باہر رہنے کے بعد بینظیر اٹھارہ اکتوبر کو وطن واپس لوٹی
تھیں۔ لیکن سیاسی سرگرمیاں انہوں نے مارچ سے ہی تیز کر دی تھیں۔
گزشتہ مارچ سے آج تک کے اہم سیاسی واقعات کی تفصیل حسب ذیل ہے۔
مارچ 26 : پاکستان میں پیپلز پارٹی اور نواز لیگ کا پہلا مشترکہ احتجاج۔
جولائی 20: پاکستان میں اقتدار کی ساجھیداری پر بینظیر بھٹو اور جنرل مشرف کی خفیہ ملاقات
اکتوبر 18: آٹھ سالہ جلا وطنی کے بعد بینظیرکی پاکستان واپسی۔چند گھنٹوں بعد ان کے استقبالی جلوس پر حملے میں تقریباً ایک سو چالیس افراد ہلاک ہوگئے۔
اکتوبر 31: بینظیر کا بیان کے ان کی اطلاعات کے مطابق جنرل مشرف ملک میں ایمرجنسی لگانے والے ہیں۔ انہوں نے دوبئی کا دورہ ملتوی کیا لیکن پھر اچانک اگلے دن دوبئی چلی گئیں۔
نومبر 3: جنرل مشرف نے ایمرجنسی لگائی اور سرکردہ سیاسی رہنماوں کو گرفتار کر لیا گیا۔
نومبر 4: حزب اخلاف کے خلاف پولیس کا کریک ڈاؤن۔ امریکہ نے ایمرجنسی کے نفاذ کی مذمت کی۔
نومبر 7: بینظیر نے ایمرجنسی کے خلاف عوامی مظاہروں کا اعلان کیا
نومبر 9: بینظیر کو روالپنڈی میں ریلی کرنے سے روکنے کے لیے انہیں نظر بند کیا گیا۔
نومبر 11: جنرل مشرف کا اعلان کہ انتخابات جنوری میں کرائے جائیں گے۔
نومبر 12: بینظیر کا جنرل مشرف کے ساتھ اقتدار میں شراکت کے بارے میں بات چیت جاری رکھنے سے انکار۔ انہیں دوبارہ نظر بند کیا گیا۔
نومبر 13: بینظیر نے پہلی مرتبہ صدر مشرف کے استعفے کا مطالبہ کیا اور کہا کہ وہ صدر مشرف کے دور اقتدار میں وزیر اعظم کی حیثیت سے خدمات انجام نہیں دیں گی۔
نومبر 16: صدر مشرف نے عبوری حکومت کو حلف دلایا۔ بینظیر کی نظر بند ختم۔ امریکہ کےہ نائب وزیر خارجہ جان نیگروپونٹے اسلام آباد آئے اور ٹیلی فون پر بینظیر سے بات چیت کی۔
نومبر 26: بینظیر اور نواز شریف نے انتخابات کے لیے کاغذات نامزدگی داخل کرائے۔ مشرف کا اعلان کہ وہ 28 نومبر کو فوج کے سربراہ کا عہدہ چھوڑ دیں گے۔
دسمبر 27۔ بینظیر بھٹو خود کش حملے میں ہلاک
