    راولپنڈی ۔31 مئی (اے پی پی) پاکستان نے جمعرات کو جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے حامل کروز میزائل حتف VIII (رعد) کا کامیاب تجربہ کیا ہے۔ 350کلومیٹر سے زائد فاصلے تک مار کرنے والے اس کروز میزائل سے پاکستان زمین پر اور سمندر میں ہدف کو نشانہ بنانے کی صلاحیت کا حامل ہوگیا ہے۔آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق کروز ٹیکنالوجی انتہائی پیچیدہ نوعیت کی ہے اور دنیا کے صرف چند ممالک کے پاس یہ ٹیکنالوجی موجود ہے ۔ جدید رعد کروز میزائل کم بلندی پر پرواز کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ ریڈار میں بھی نہیں دیکھا جاسکتا اور یہ جوہری اور روایتی ہتھیاروں کو اپنے ساتھ لے جانے اور ہدف کو صحیح صحیح نشانہ بنانے کی بھرپور صلاحیت رکھتا ہے۔ اس تجربے کی ایک اہم اضافی خصوصیت نیشنل کمانڈ اتھارٹی کے مکمل طور پر خودکار سٹرٹیجک کمانڈ اینڈ کنٹرول سپورٹ سسٹم کو موثر طور پر بروئے کار لانا ہے۔
