چیف جسٹس افتخار محمد چودھری نے لاپتہ افراد کے معاملہ پر پاکستان آئے ہوئے اقوام متحدہ کے وفد سے ملاقات سے انکار کردیا

اسلام آباد(ثناء نیوز ) چیف جسٹس افتخار محمد چودھری نے لاپتہ افراد کے معاملہ پر پاکستان آئے ہوئے اقوام متحدہ کے وفد سے ملاقات سے انکار کردیا ۔ وزارت خارجہ نے دو خطوط سپریم کورٹ بھجوائے تھے جن میں کہا گیا تھا کہ جبری گمشدگیوں سے متعلق اقوام متحدہ کا ورفدپاکستان آیا ہوا ہے وہ 18 اور 19 ستمبر کو اسلام آباد میں ہو گا اور اس دوران چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان سے ملاقات کرنا چاہتا ہے اس خط کے جواب میں سپریم کورٹ نے جو جواب بھجوایا ہے اس میں چیف جستس نے ملنے سے معذرت کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ لاپتہ افراد سے متعلق کیس عدالت میں ہے اس لیے مناسب یہ ہو گا کہ چیف جسٹس یو این کے کمیشن سے ملاقات نہ کریں ۔ رجسٹرار آفس نے موقف اختیار کیا ہے کہ چیف جسٹس لاپتہ افراد کے کیسز سن رہے ہیں اور ایسا کوئی بھی جج جو کیس کی سماعت کر رہا ہو اسے اس کیس سے متعلق ملاقاتیں نہیں کرنی چاہئیں ضابطہ اخلاق اور روایات کا تقاضہ ہے کہ چیف جسٹس اس اقوام متحدہ کے وفد سے نہ ملیں کیونکہ ایسی ملاقاتوں میں چیف جسٹس کو لاپتہ افراد سے متعلق رائے دینا ہوتی ہے اور سوچ کا اظہار بھی کرنا پڑتا ہے اس لیے چیف جسٹس نہیں چاہئیں گے کہ وہ اس ملاقات میں کوئی ایسی بات کہیں جو ایسے کیس کے بارے میں ہے جس کا فیصلہ ابھی آیا ان بنیادوں پرچیف جسٹس نے اقوام متحدہ کے وفد سے ملاقات سے انکار کیاہے۔
